Season 2 of GLEE!!!

Im just gonna admit it…Im a gleek. Im not the biggest one you’ll ever meet but i love it so much. I love musicals a lot and the fact that its just one big musical in a show kind of makes me want to cry out in joy. Last week the season premiere of the 2nd season aired. I have been waiting for this moment for so long and just soo much happened in one episode it was just so crazy but it was a really great episode. I cant really talk about it more than that except for the line ” i even wrote on your crazy calender” kind of broke my heart, just a little bit. Im writing this post in anticipation for tomorrows show. and if you dont watch it your really really missing out on something amazing.

theres nothing really to say but to read it, its one of the best books I’ve read about a teenager who hasn’t really figured it all out yet. the story of the protagonist isn’t just told to you, you really have to think about the words on the page. So go read it, you really wont be disappointed.
songs really can make you feel infinite.
God of Carnage
I just saw this play on broadway. I didnt get to see the original cast but i thought the cast that i did see was just as good as anything else i couldve seen. The play is about 2 couples who have 10 year old sons who recently have had a physical brawl with each other and they have set up a meeting to talk about the consequences of their sons actions although they as people and couples get brought into the situation. This play was originally written in french and has premiered in 3 cities (Paris, London and NYC). It won numerous tony awards so obviously this play is no slouch. I thought it was really good, and one of the actresses who was in it named Janet Mcteer is probably one of the best stage actresses right now both in London and in NYC, and she did such an amazing job, she was also in the original cast in London. The actor who played her husband was Jeff Daniels, who was in the original cast (in NYC) but he switched roles. The other couple were played by Dylan Baker and Lucy Liu. Of course we all know Lucy Liu as being one of the Charlie Angels in the remake movies of the 1970’s series Charlie’s Angels so it was really interesting seeing her on stage. The cast really worked well off of each other and you can take what you think about the acting, i wont go into detail on what i thought of that. i would recommend this play to anyone who wants to see something a little bit funny, a little bit serious and a whole lot thought provoking. This play is a little more adult but i think teenagers can really still get something from the content. Plus if your a student with a I.D you can get seats for just $26.50!
